Creating an age-integrated community leads to a healthy community, where the strengths of one generation meet the needs of another. Formerly observed during the month of November, this recognition event is now celebrated at a program's discretion. Optimist Clubs recognize local youth for their efforts in the arts, athletics, academics, and community service work.
